mini sandwiches are a good choice as you have a good variety and very little mess to deal with.

Until this year my husband and I have hosted a Holiday gathering that only consisted of appetizers and desserts. I make a cheesey bean dip in my crockpot, and some bbq smokies along with other finger-type foods. Desserts are always simple but nice too for a large crowd. My neighbors and friends were also willing to bring something, so that made it pretty easy on me.
Your ideas are fine, sometimes pizza is just as good. Processed lunchmeats are expensive for that big of a crowd, if you decide to make sloppy joes or tacos, after you cook your meat, put it into a crockpot on low to keep it hot throughout the night, that way you can make a large amount of it and there is no need to make so many other things.
As far as a large dessert, consider making a trifle with some chocolate fudge pudding, cool whip, brownies and add some heath bits to it. It's awesome!!! A fruit platter or bowl is also good with a yogurt dip.

Buy or borrow crockpots. Put chili in one (cups or bowls next to it - maybe some toppings and mini corn muffins), Sloppy Joe meat in one (buns next to it) and Meatballs and Polish Sausage in another (hoagie rolls next to it.) Unless you live in a warm climate, Super Bowl time is for hot food in my book :) Have tortilla chips out as well so if folks want to use the chili to make their own nachoes, they can do that too! Consider having a bunch of foil wrapped baked potatoes there because lots of the same toppings work for both and vegetarians would have a filling option.
Think lots of prep, nothing to do once your company is there. This way YOU get to enjoy the game and company as well instead of spending all your time in the kitchen!

Go with drinks e.x. coke, pepsi and chips dip tacos are fine, PIZZA would be great(homemade is a nice touch)And then some hamburgers would be good. No fancy foods or else people will fill up befor desert!

sloppy joes, mini cold sandwiches, meatballs are all good choices. Chili is a good one too. These things are easy to prepare and clean up as well. You could also do pork bbq as well

chili is always a good option. Its something everyone likes and it is filling. You can do chicken fingers too (home made - cut the breast into a few strips, bread them and fry) or mini pizzas. Tacos are a good option too. you can fry up all the meat, set it up in a few dishes so there's easy access for everyone and set up a few trays with the fillings, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, chopped onions, grated cheeses like chedder, etc and anything else you like... salsas, peppers. That way, all you do is set up and everyone makes it themselves. paper plates are always good too. that way, when everyone's done with their tacos, and other snack stuff... throw the plates out and all u have to do is disgard the prepped stuff. have fun and happy new year!

This is a relatively handy nacho dip that tastes top notch! 1 bundle Velveeta mexican chese (you can do spicy or mild) 1 can Hormel chili +/- green onions melt it in an oven-risk-free bowl within the Microwave or oven (for nevertheless lengthy it takes to be all melted) stirring every so often, and eat it with tortilla chips. It is exceptional!!

Easiest thing to do is to make a couple of Baked Ziti Casseroles, Salad and crusty bread. People NEED to eat something pretty substantial. You can assemble the ziti during the day and just put it in the oven to bake a short time before you want to serve it.

Go for the hot roast beef and / or meatballs. Can just throw them in a crockpot and not have to worry about them.
