very possible that he is ,my mom lived to 88,but she was like that in the end, they get old and don,t have the entergy that they use to have.Imagine getting old and your body just don,t do what you want it to do,they still feel 16 in their head but their bodies don,t work for them.they also know that their time is limited,it is a sad time for them and a sad time for us to see them that way...all you can do is to treasure every hour you can spend with them, let them know you love them,do things to let them know...you sound like me when i saw my Mom going down.its so hard...because you remember them as they use to be,and you want to shake them and say don,t do this ,but they can,t change it anymore than we can...At least he still comes to party,s and sits there..Just njoy him while you can, then you will have memories to treasure............I can feel your pain......i have been there
