Can you help me? Im really worried. After a big night out I ended up with an ex. We had sexual relations and the day after my lip has been tingly and sore. There is a definate lump. Could it be an STD? or wouldn't I recieve symptoms so soon? I have never had a cold sore and he didn't have one either. What do you think?

It sounds like a cold sore. You can spread herpes without having an active outbreak.

try taking benedryl to reduce swelling and then if it persists I would make an appt. to see the dr.
