I usually get a headache after a load of sugar, then very sleepy.
If I don't eat at all, the blood glucose level drops rapidly. At about 50ml/dl, I get sweaty and shakey.

Well I come from a family of diabetics... And I myself am Hypoglycemic... And mine is the early signs of diabetese. And what I have craved for years, has been alot of carbs, sweets, and so on.. Until , I got my annual diabetese check-up, since it runs in my family. And well, I always craved sweets and carbs, because my blood sugar, has always been very low.. So, I am suppose to limit myself to sweets & carbs, now. But, the feelings I always got from when I'd eat them was lots of energy for awhile, then dropped.. To the point to where I'd only eat sweets in the evenings, before bed, to help me sleep.. And if I ever ate them during the day, I would feel very fatiqued. Very, very tired and grumpy... Now, I'm on this pyramid diet... Its hard to explain. But, its like I'm only allowed so much bread a day, and so much mayonaise, and so much of everything.. More high proteins, than anything.. I hope I was of some help.. but there's different types of diabetese. And some people have to eat sweets, and even carry hard candy with them, I have family members who used to have to give themselves insulin shots.. My grandpa was one of them. I read in my Medical encyclopedia, that what I have is nothing to mess with, and if I dont folllow my pyramid diet, I can very easily go into a coma, seizure's, and even death. So, this is nothing to mess with, and its very hard for me, to change my eating habits, but I'm trying my very best, you know. Thats all I can do. On a brighter note, "Here's wishing & hoping You & Yours will have a Very Happy, Healthy, Peacful & Prosperous New Year!!" Smile!!!

I'm Type II. I rarely eat sugar or sugar containing items. When I don't eat, I get the shakes and have trouble concentrating.

I think it depends on the individual,
in general though, when my blood sugar gets very high, I feel a bit jittery, and get quick tempered,
when it gets low, i get dizzy. and could pass out.
if I dont eat anything, I start to drag real bad

for me when i eat too much sugar, i get sleepy and lethargic.
low sugars usually get me light headed and i can be short tempered.
My husband gets sweaty and disoriented when he gets a low sugar and much the same as me for high sugars.
