Don't forget the American and Swiss cheese. For 50 people you'll need 5 pounds of Ham, 8 pounds of Roast Beef and 10 pounds of Turkey. 3 pounds of American and 3 Pounds of Swiss. You'll have some leftover, but not much. People will eat more Turkey than anything!

When I use to cater at a deli, it was five oz for roast beef per person and 8 or 9 for turkey and ham. Also add some cheese so you don't spend a fortune on meat, try swiss, cheddar and something spicey like jalapeno jack. add fruit in middle and you'll have a very filling deli tray that wont cost you an arm and leg.

Have fun

A good rule of thumb is 1/4 lb. of meat per person per sandwich. That's what we told people when I worked in a deli. Definitely make your own tray, it will be less than half the cost of a premade tray and it is sooo easy to do.

A total of 12 and a half lbs all meat combined. The rule of thumb is 4 oz per person.

Personally, I'd go with 3 oz of each per person, and take that times 1.5 or 1.25. Some eat a lot, some eat a little. Running out is OK because then people will switch to another meat, but having a little excess is good too, because nobody wants to get the last bite.

think about 4 oz per person
so
50 x 4 = 200
200 - 16 = 12.5 so get 13 pounds
5 pounds of ham
5 pounds of turkey
3 pounds of roast beef( only becoz it cost so much)
or
get 5 pounds of roast beef and you can have lunch for a few daZe
