I have been in the cardiac world for the past 4 years. and that is not a high heart rate but if it feels like it is increasing for a short period then i would defiantly go to the doctor. he or she may recommend you to a cardiac doctor. but the normal range for the heart to beat is 60 - 100 which is called sinus rhythm (SR). their are a couple of other rhythms that are most known and that is sinus bardy (SB) and that range on that is 40 - 60. Then their is sinus tach (ST) that ranges from 100 and up. But i don't think you should worry about a heart attack. But I'm also not a doctor. When your heart starts to feel like it is speeding up it may mean you are close to a anxiety attack.

To answer this, I have to begin with the phrase "In general", your heart rate is normal. I use this phrase, as I don't know you or much about you. If you are to see your doctor, then follow his advice. When you see the psychologist, you will begin to get a better insight into yourself, and the cause and effects of whatever is stressing you. Good luck.
