It is my understanding that the pain reliever in nyquil is tylenol.
If that is the case, you can take them at the same time or as close or as far apart as you wish.
Just read the ingredients of the nyquil, if it doesn't contain motrin or ibuprofen you are safe.

Nyquil has acetaminophen in it, while ibuprofen (Advil/Motrin) is a different class of pain reliever/fever reducer. They can be combined.

Double-check the labels to verify this information; and if you're that sick, go to the Doctors.

As long as ibuprofen is NOT one of the active ingredients of Nyquil-you can take them together. None of the other ingredients interact.
