Here's what I would fix to go with the pears and cake:
rotisserie chicken
mixed greens salad
corn on the cob or oven roasted potatoes
Oven roasted Potatoes
Recipe By :
Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00
Categories : Casseroles Vegetables
Main dish
Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1 Envelope Lipton onion
Mushroom soup mix
2 lb Potatoes, chunked
1/3 c Oil
preheat oven to 450 degrees. In large plastic bag or bowl add all ingredients, close bag and shake, or toss in bowl, until potatoes are evenly coated. Empty potatoes into shallow baking or basting pan; discard bag, bake stirring occasionally, 40 minutes or until potatoes are tender and golden brown. Garnish, if desired with chopped fresh parsley

I suggest roasted chicken and blue cheese mashed potatos and roasted veggies. The pears at the end will be a nice compliment.

I would say grilled salmon w/white wine and lemon. I just had this for Christmas dinner paired with a fruit salad that contained pears and it was a great combination! Good luck!

I had a marvel twenty 5th for my mothers and dads too approximately 9 years in the past. i offered wicker baskets, spray-painted them silver, filled them with silver and white grass, put in silver herseys kisses and a disposable digital camera and had silver ballons with their names and "twenty 5th anniversary with hearts" printed on them related to the hampers. I additionally offered mini/guy or woman martinelli bottles and made labels with photos from the marriage and a present day one that pronounced chuffed twenty 5th Anniversary alongside with their names and wedding ceremony date. located the label over the martinelli label, further a silver under pressure out ribbon and warm-glued a white rose to the neck of the bottle. located each and all the bottles around the basket on the tables. It somewhat regarded super and anybody enjoyed the bottles. sturdy success!
