Try Chromium Picolinate or try the home remedies.

Chromium at a health food store, there is no special diet to follow, no dietary restrictions, and no fainting spells. One 200 mcg chromium in the morning is all that is needed on most days. A second dose is necessary after a lot of cake or candy (or after working in the sun or overdoing any physical activity, or after an emotional upheaval).

Home Remedies.

Eat a high protein breakfast. Protein is broken down slower than sugar and even complex carbs and provides the body with better sustained energy during the day to prevent those horrible light-headed passing out episodes. Protein is the key! And if you feel one of those dizzy spells coming on... sit down and drink a little orange juice. Works wonders!
