i have these little white bumps around the shaft of my penis. i had one that i pop every so once in a while, i squeezed extra hard this one time and clear stuff came out. The bumps were always there but i had sex with a girl like 3 months ago and than this clear stuff comes out. i have an appt. next week but i cant wait. I also notice an ingrown hair on the shaft of my penis? 2 of them in fact. whats your opinion. I cant sleep

Hello:
Based on the information and the description of the lesions, it is highly unlikely that this is herpes.
It sounds like you either have some infected hair follicles or "folliculitis". Essentially a whitehead but after you pop it, it can leave scar tissue under the skin causing a small hard knot that may take months to go away.
It could also be something called "molluscum contagiosum" which is a sexually transmitted disease. These lesions are usually a whitish-to light yellow color, are round, and may have a central indentation in them. You cannot pop them, if you try, the only thing you will get out is clear serum. A physician can use a special instrument to "scoop" out the lesion but they often come back.
I would recommend that you see a doctor and have the lesions evaluated to make sure it is not molluscum contagiosum.
Other possibilities are small benign cysts.
Chances are that it is probably nothing dangerous or anything to worry about, but based on your description of the lesions you must rule out molluscum.

No herpes do not do anything...such as pop like a pimple...probably only an ingrown hair or clogged pore.

they could be one of many things; the exact diagnosis will rely on examining it. So unles syou are goign to show us, wait for th edoctor to take a look. I bet though it is merely ingrown hairs or pimples or malformed hair follicles. none of whidch are a real problem.

the M.D.'s answer is very helpful. in your case, herpes is unlikely, but it would be good to get it checked out. the problem could get worse if the bumps go untreated.
