I've had this rash on my groin for a week or so now. Its in the very area where my testicles touch my legs. My penis and my testicles dont itch at all but the area on either leg where my testicles touches itches like crazy. Please help.

Have you used a different laundry detergent or soap recently? Have you been wearing a newbrand or type of underwear recently? Often times, an allergic reaction or "contact dermatitis" can result from those things like soaps and detergents or even material, and can show up in the groin, armpits or neck as an itchy rash. If this is the case you just have to stop using those things.

Could also be jock itch... kinda like athlete's foot but in the groin area. Nothing serious but very annoying and unfortunately very common in guys. You can get an antifungal cream or ointment from a doctor and I think maybe OTC but not sure about that.

Or, have you had any sexual contact with a female who may have had a yeast infection? While uncommon, it is possible to pass along a yeast infection to a male partner. However, usually the symptoms would show up on the penis itself (if the guy didn't use a condom). if a condom was used it is possible to have the infection "candidiasis" on the skin that came into contact.

None of these is serous though, if that's the case. Yeast infections can be cleared up easily with an antifungal med from a doctor. I recommend going to a doctor though if you can. I doubt it's anything serious but you might feel better getting treatment sooner than later, especially if it's itching like you say.

Keep the area dry, and put some mild, over the counter Anti-Fungal Cream Ointment on that specific area.

If it gets worse; then go see a Dermatologist.

If you are using Green Extra Virgin Olive Oil, in large amounts, switch to a lighter, clearer olive oil.

Also buy some Aloe, Cucumber soap to shower with, until this problem is corrected."

Sounds like you just have a rash there. It will develop from seating r there being moisture there. After you shower and dry off, try baby powder. It should go away. Use baby powder to prevent it also. Or Gold Bond! Make sure that the powder is unmedicated and unscented, that stuff will just irritate it more. If your problem persists go to a doctor.

Sounds like the joys of jock itch. There are antifungal creams for dealing with it. After using that, the skin may be a bit dry -- go for a moisturizer made for the area, like Man1 Man Oil. Also use powder down there in the future to keep it dry, preventing the infection!

You could still have an std, you could have gotten it from a toilet, but your right, doesn't sound like std. The rash could be caused by excess moisture or rubbing, it can also be caused by your laundry detergent. A lot of things can cause rashes , to be safe get it checked out to make sure its not what u fear .

Try Lever 2000 soap. Its really good at cleaning up skin rashes, its an antibiotic soap. Also, make sure you dry your skin really good after washing the area. Then use gold bond powder to keep the area dry. This should help. Good luck!

Jock itch is a yeast infection brought on by sweating.
You need to try a fungal medicine and if it is fungus you will feel better pretty quick.
