The question is I guess, why would you want to? If you don't know if you have a yeast infection, and you have never had one diagnosed before, you should go let a doctor diagnose it before treating it yourself. You could be treating something that is NOT a yeast infection.
Many STDs mask themselves as yeast, and so do other infections that are not treated in the same way. Better to go to the doctor and get the appropriate treatment than to mess around with the wrong medication.

Always go to the doctor when you are unsure. By using yeast medication when you are not sure of what you are treating, you can be masking or covering up clue cells for the doctor to diagnose any infection. I would not recommend treating yourself. See a doctor. Good luck!

no, i don't think so, it's prettty safe. Give it a try and if it doesn't work see a doctor. It will probably help with the itch at least cuz it has anti itch medicine in it so maybe if it's not a yeast infection it will clear up anyway while you use the medicine and are itch free!

yes. it will kill your good yeast, leaving the good bacteria to grow and multiply causing a very very foul odor. don't do it!!!! then you will have to use a medicine to kill the bacteria. you shouldn't douche that often. (if u can help it, don't douche at all). most people who do douche use it to feel fresher. if you douche often this will rinse away your protective barrier, hence, possibly leading to a yeast or bacterial infection.
