I agree with all of the UTI people here. UTIs exibit with frequent urination, a sensation that you need to urinate without any results when you try, an early end to urination despote what you feed, pain in the genital area, lower back pain, or even fever. UTIs can easily be gotten from sex, especially if you have had one before. They are basically caused by bacteria that have leached their way into your urinary tract. If it does turn out to be one, you should try showering and peeing immediately after having sex.

you should gove more info because thats not much to go off of,most stds that im aware of do not cause symptoms like that. what your describing sounds more like a bladder infection. that can cause increased frequency in urination and burning pain in the genitals along with soreness especially in females. for guys the same symptoms would be more likely to be caused by prostititus which is also not an std, its an infection of the prostate gland. it can also effect the testicles causing mild to severe pain depending on the case. frequent urination is not generally a symptom of an std. good luck i know what its like to be worried about that sort of thing wether it be a question for you or for a friend defintly stressful not to know whats wrong

It could be a urinary tract infection, so don't freak out yet. If it's just unbearable, go to the doctor - they're really common and nothing to be embarassed of. They'll just make you pee in a cup. If you can stick it out (because it'll go away) drink a lot of cranberry juice - it cleans out your system really fast.
My mother says you always should pee after having sex because that will help prevent them. I don't know if that's even true, but I do it now and I don't seem to have problems. :)
If that doesn't seem to be the problem, then you need to get some tests...I'm not quite sure what those symptoms would mean, but try going to www.webmd.com to check out your symptoms, or www.plannedparenthood.com to learn about STD's.

probably gonorrhea. most go undetected with little or no symptoms. if it is indeed an STD, to have these symptoms, would mean the infection has been there a while. just remember, your sex partner has to take the antibiotic too, both must go through a regimen together. if not, you are only going to get reinfected. if you have an STD you are playing with other deadly diseases. please be smarter. you only have one life.

Sounds like a UTI not an STD.
