I have not actually used it, but I have had several patients that have, and all of them have said it works really well, and they get significant pain relief from it. I am not sure of the onset.

My husband has been taking it for 6 months and finds that it works well for his neuropathy. I would suggest you get your sugar under control and maybe you won't need the Lyrica. It can also make you gain weight. Godloveya.

I was prescribed this drug for Neuropathy but never actually took it. Some of the side effects were things that I was already having a great deal of trouble with so I did not bother using it. I have been using Neurotin and it controls my symptoms very well.
Just thought I would add my experience with this medication.

Lyrica if it contains B12 will 1000iu will be of beneficial and very quick too.
