This year we did things a bit differently. At my grandma's for lunch we had lasanga, salad, a ham (lol random I know) and a cracker and dip and fruit and cheese tray. Here with my parents we had tamales tonight for dinner and tomorrow they are cooking a turkey.

In the past we did a turkey or ham, and did the broccali & rice cassarole, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, sometimes stuffing.

Oh yes, and always a variety of desserts such as cheesecake, apple pie, pecan pie, cherry pie. I wish we had a pumpkin pie this year. I think i will have 2 slices!!

My mom and I are having ham, macaroni & cheese, cranberry sauce, stuffing, yams, rolls and cheesecake for dessert. I love ham and I feel that people eat too much turkey around Thanksgiving, so Christmas should be for the Ham! Enjoy and Merry Christmas!

We eat unusual foods. Like truffles or escargot. A creme brulle. Lobster. Some families have traditional turkeys or ham. My family has Brie or chipolte cream cheese in a roasted raspberry chipotle. Gingerbread cookies with chocolate chips. A taste extravaganza, just like the holiday, extravagant.

Yes, I think ham is the most common meal. Some people also cook turkeys.

Most people probably have the usual turkey or ham, veggies, side dishes, etc.

My family is starting a new tradition this year -- we're having Mexican!! Chicken fajitas, refried beans, spanish rice, cheese dip... mmmm, I can't wait!!

Personally, I had a prime rib roast, but I think ham is probably what is most common.
