Ever since I can remember I been getting what people told me were fever blisters. They're blisters on my lips. I did some research online and I think its herpes. I never had sex. and if i have it. How did I get it? Can I die? Is it like aids? I have it right now. I always get it and goes away. So It should be gone in a couple days. I just hate them. I get them maybe once or twice a year for awhile then they disappear.
Thanks.

I'm a nurse. Many people have herpes. Unfortunately there is no cure for it. But there are medications that you can take that will help you. If you ever kissed a girl you could have gotten it that way, since you said you never had sex. I recommend you telling your parents so you can get medication to ease your discomfort when you get these out breaks. People usually get outbreaks every three months or twice a year as you do. They are painful as you know as well. Talk to your parents about this. I hope you can use this information. Oh yeah and no you won't die.

Fever blisters are Herpes and that form is spread through kissing or sharing straws, utensils or whatever. The person you got it from may not have even had an active blister.
Herpes will not kill you even if it is the genital kind. And speaking of which, if you ever engage in oral sex, make sure your partner is protected because you can in fact spread lip herpes to genitalia. It will still be lip herpes but once infected down there, there really is no difference. It still hurts and never goes away.
There are treatments that will reduce the outbreaks but you will be infected for the rest of your life. I know, it sucks but there is no cure yet.
Just use caution and typically the only time you are infectious is when you start feeling the tingle or burn before the blisters erupt through the final stages until the scab is gone.

I got diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about five yrs ago, when I was still attending college and had a stupid one-night stand. I know lots of people say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date men again. After all, who wants to go out with someone who has sores round her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/6y5W9 everything improved.
Not only was I able to clear away all remnants of the hsv from my body in less than three weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just last week, in front of everybody in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This method provided the opportunity to be happy and experience true love again. Now I hope that I can help others too by sharing this story.

you cant die from it, there is no cure but mostly i belive its just irritating and very contagious even if you dont have an outbreak you can pass it on so be very careful until you find out for sure there a lot of ways you could have got it if you have it. since you have an out break right now it you should go be tested it for it as soon as possible because they can only test for it when you have an outbreak because if you've ever had a cold sore or chicken pox a blood test will say you have herpes there are a lot of places that will test you for free look around on the Internet and try contacting your nearest planned parenthood they should have information for you and might even be able to do the test and they are completely confidential.

Herpes
If you take 2 lysine 100 mg daily it will keep you from having an attack. Lysene can be found in any vitamin section. KissKi88
cold sores
Buy a small bottle of Tinture of Myrrh. Remove bottle lid, tip bottle over with tip of finger covering the opening, tip back upright. rub small amount of solution from finger tip to the cold sore. Works on internal mouth or external mouth sores. Bites and stings a little, somewhat like alcohol would. I had a devil of a time finding any Myrrh, but finally found it at Dr. Champion's store at: http://www.theherbalman.com/ Bob Voigt
My dad made us use Kerosene, Just dab a clean rag or paper towel, and just dab on affected area. It WORKS.
I am 60 and still use it. Been passed down for years... Butch

My best friend has had genital herpes for about eight months now, and it's been really rough. She's had about 7 outbreaks. Everywhere I read it says it stops flaring up so much after time, but its not getting less frequent for her. She's been on Antiviral meds the whole time, too. She also has type 1 diabetes which she has had her whole life, which really weakens her immune system. Will it ever get better?
But after a friend share this video everything has changed.

Herpes simplex is cold sores or fever blisters, you can get this from kissing someone who has a cold sore. It is contagious... be careful not to touch your eyes or private areas after touching your mouth. It isn't fatal just very painful. The virus is always in your tissues just waiting for you to be stressed out or also when you get badly chapped lips.
