I'm in Michigan...outside of Detroit, I need to have the staple of puertorrican Foods for the Holidays...pasteles...does anyone out there know where in Michigan I can find them, buy them...I'm so deppressed w/o them, Noche Buena is not the same...

My guess would be any Cuban, Spanish or Peruvian restaurant/bakery - call a few and ask if they don't serve them they know who does. Good Luck!

look in phone book for Whole Foods market. There is also a Mexican Restraunt the owners may know it's south of Detroit of I-75 I don't remember name of street but it's around exit 46 go north pass the refineries there is a truck stop close by...

I hear you girl, I'm Mexican and cannot live without cake either!
I know it's not really Christmas-y, but at Sam's Wholesale they sell a delicious TRIPLE chocolate bundt cake. My brother bought it the other day and it was absolutely delicious!
