I make sure there are seat guards first. If there's none I go to a different toilet. Then when I do put the covers down I put like three and I still don't sit down. When I'm done I wash my hands and open the door using a paper towel. Some people don't wash their hands so touching the door when you're leaving the restroom defeats the purpose of even washing your hands in the first place. Yuck.

I am a squatter. Like a lot of people, I hover about seven inches above. What this means is that while most of it goes in, my urine sprinkles the toilet seat. I try to be polite and wipe the seat with tissue so the next person who may want to use a paper cover doesn't have wet spots, but my point it this: When you sit on the seat like that you are sitting on the dried (or maybe still damp) pee sprinkles of thousands of people.

Yes, always.
They say there are more germs on the average kitchen worktop than on a lavatory seat.
But always wash your hands.
Even if there was something really nasty, you catch it by putting your hands to your mouth not from where you sit. Most infections are caught through lack of hand washing and germs are ingested.
(Obviously there are other routes, STDs and respiratory infections mostly but neither are caught from toilet seats))

Not in American men's restrooms you wouldn't, that's sick
Unless your bum is already all crusty.
With IBS, it's even harder to find a clean john anymore.
I hear the ladie's rooms are even worse.
Hoverers...... No wonder the toilet looks that way, thanks to you people.
UMO's....Unidentified Missing Objects. Sure do miss the darn target 10 for 10 everytime, & hit everything else. The wall, the seat, the floor, etc. GROSS.

Hover? Girls and Boys, if you choose to hover, hover OVER the toilet seat and get it IN the Bowl. If this is impossible you are a lazy sloth and need to do some Keegle exercises and some Yoga.

It depends on how bad i have to go.. if i have to go real bad I'll just sit down and go. hoovering hurts my knees and makes them shake if i am going to do it for a while. Lately i have seen more toilet seat covers in restrooms which is appreciated! I read an article that said there is more bacteria and feces on your purse and cell phone that in a public restroom!

I squat. There is no telling who/how many used it before you. My dad caught crabs from sitting on a public T-seat. It just nasty. Some people make a slight mess and pee, poop, bleed on the seat and just wipe it off without disinfectent. Its just plain nasty, so please STOP!
