Carrots, yellow squash, dark green leafy vegetables, tomatoes, papaya and oranges - all these have vitamin A which helps the immune system. Vitamin E stimulates the immune system and it's major source is vegetable oils. Vitamin C also helps boost the immune system and dietary sources include spinach, tomatoes, potatoes (very little though), broccoli, strawberries and citrus fruits.

Onions, garlic, and ginger root are the 3 most potent antiviral foods. all are stronger raw. Antiviral drugs are few. Interferon was about $1500 a treatment for cancer. I'm not sure what is now. As far as vitamin concentration, choose the brightest colored eg. red peppers, carrots, broccoli . Potatoes with the skin on have more potassium than bananas.

Ginger is a really great source for that. I would also suggest anything with lots of Vitamin C (citrusy fruits) such as grapefruit, oranges, tangerines, lemons, etc.
