Ok to start off i will give some of my background. I am 18 and have endometriosis and intersticial cystitis. I have had my gall bladder removed and kidney failure. Last summer i stopped breathing and my mother had to iniciate cpr. I went to the doctor about this and they sent me a heart doctor, asthma tests, and many other tests but still are unsure of what is going on. I tend to feel like i have to make myself breathe which i thought was normal as a child. I often feel like my throat is closing and have stopped breathing a few times. I took the asthma test and the doctor said that my lungs are only 18% in use when 85% is the norm. I was not diagnosed with asthma either time i took the test and am now wondering what to do. Doctors seem to just want to give you a diagnosis even if it is wrong. I am very weak and tired often and i get horrible migraines which may have to do with not getting enough oxygen to the brain. can anyone maybe help me???

Wow-- you are not having a grand and healthy experience in life!

I have a couple of suggestions that will NOT create worse problems for you and might actually help you to breathe normally.... worth a try, right?

The first is to check out the energy psychology technique called EFT, Emotional Freedom Technique. It is a simple and quick method to unblock physically and emotionally. It is amazing, but many folks with physical problems, such as asthma, find relief from that and other issues by practicing EFT to clear negative issues from the past. You can download the free Get Started Package at http://tinyurl.com/yh5zhu, or if you want to dive in right away by purchasing the inexpensive instructional DVDs click here>> http://tinyurl.com/ycwle8 Read the testimonials on this site and you will know how effective this energy therapy is.

My other suggestion would be to look into pure, unadulterated essential oils. I say "unadulterated" because if you use essential oils that have been distilled using solvents, or with high heat, you won't get the results you are hoping for, and might actually harm yourself. Peppermint Essential Oil is amazing, as are a number of the other high frequency oils such as Frankincense and the Citrus Oils. Some people think they are just all about "fragrance" but the fact is that they continue to work after the fragrance dissipates. Read more about them at http://tinyurl.com/ykxyuk

A young friend of mine contacted the Lung Association and got a lot of information and support from them.

All the best, and have a Merry Christmas!

I don't know if this could help. My co-worker's 10 years old son has asthma for a long time and the Doctor cannot do anything about it.

Two months ago, I asked about her son. She told me he is OK now because her son drank the Xango (mangosteen juice). She also told me that she used to have allergy. After drinking the Xango juice, she is also recovered. I heard a lot of good things about this juice. I also personally tried it myself. It really works. My problem is not asthma. I have hey fever. It usually come around February or March each year. I still have to wait to see the result. However, after drinking the juice for two weeks, I already feel the different. I play poker on line everyday and go to bed very late. I used to feel very tired during the day. Now I don't feel tired anymore.

The juice only cost $30 US. You should see the result in two to four weeks.

For more details, go to www.Xango.com.

Good luck and best wishes.

sounds a little bit like anxiety. what is your weight?
are you under weight /overweight or what?
if you are 5-6/ least weight is 120 heaviest weight 135.
5-4 least 120 most 130.
what is your caloric intake?
and your blood sugar?
have your doctor check your blood sugar and your body weight. this will help alot in determining your condition.
and whether or not you have to use an inhaler.
and always get a second opinion.
and also an x-ray of your lung will bevery helpful!!.
also have them check your lung capacity.
they will have a table that they go by for this.
take care of yourself and ask questions:that is the only way to learn. and dont be shy about it.
and above all try to relax.
cause this might be a form of anxiety.

ok it either may be a tumor in your lungs or it may be cancer. Get a chest x-ray and a ct scan. Or maybe your endometriosis or your intersticial cystitis could be what you are experiencing. Look for symtoms of those diseases too. I hope you feel better.

There is way more going on with you. What kind of meds do you take? What is your heart like? Has your doctor prescribed asthma meds?

Have an asthma puffer?
Try not to over-excert yourself and carry a puffer everywhere you go, just in case.
Try and see what is going on.
[specialist]
It may be expensive but it is worth it.
Whats money when one can't breathe?
