Yes but if you're eating it every day try to buy the best quality you can. The reason for this is that fish - especially low quality fish - can contain high levels of heavy metals which act as cumulative poisons in the body. Someone who eats sushi from time to time can afford to take a risk but if you're eating it every day you better eat the best or you might end up with some foul illness...

Good luck! And remember - sushi goes down much better with champagne.

I love sushi enough to eat it every day too. But you can't.

Especially if you are in your child-bearing years, or plan to have kids in the next 10 years. Sushi is just loaded with mercury toxins. Not just tuna either! Salmon, mackeral, clams, shrimp, etc. It's all full of it.

The thing with HgMg (Mercury) poisoning is that it's a heavy metal which means it stays in your body. It's not something you eat and then eliminate. So you're body has a buildup inside from all the sushi you've been eating to date.

It is PROVEN that mercury directly causes learning disabilities, retardation, autism and ADD in children that were exposed in the womb. The trouble is, as a heavy metal, not eating it once you're pregnant is too late, You need to be free of the metal in your body BEFORE you get pregnant.

Also, for men- it's directly linked to prostate cancer.

For everyone- it is directly linked to alzheimer's disease (sp?) in seniors. These people are feeling the effects of years of mercury poison.

I swear I'm no environmentalist. I actually only know this because I LOVE sushi and seafood and am a law student. One of my seminars required that I do reserach on a government agency. I studied the EPA and once I read all their legal documents on CO2 emissions (this is what settles in the water, gets eaten by fish, then eaten by us) I NEVER saw sushi the same way. It's so lame because it's so healthy otherwise. *Sigh.

Anyway- look anywhere online. The data is public information and it is not disputed by the fish or power industries per se. The real only argument comes into how we should regulate emissions of CO2 to prevent contaminating our fish.

Anyway- no you really shouldnt eat sushi every day. In fact, the EPA website actually has a table online if you look for it that shows by age and sex how much you can safely eat. Trust me, it's not much!

When you read what it does to you- its terrifying and you won't want to.

Oh- and for the record, my reserach was me defending the power companies- so it really sucked to have to argue against the scientific facts that make it clear as day. Sushi is scary.

Last thing- I ate a plate of sashimi anyway last week and it was DELISH!

Everything is better in moderation, but if you must eat sushi every day, then be careful of the type of fish you're eating. The mecury levels could be hazardous to your heath.

Yes, eat it all the time. However, unless you are from Japan or Hong Kong, it is going to be expensive.

You could, but I'd think after eating it straight for a few weeks you'd get tired of it. If not, then go right ahead....continue.
