if at home you keep it in the fridg and if you travel its best to take a cooler with you or a big insulated cup and put them in ice and stop to refill the cup with ice when it runs out

Insulin must kept in the refrigerator at all times. As a matter of fact the Pharmacist will let you know, and is the best resource for all prescription and OTC drugs.
