ankles can a pace maker cause this problem. She has a very diffuclt time in walking

best thinbgt, check with the doctor. However, in the meantime, have her put her feet up, to help the circulation get the fluid out of her eextremities and back up where it needs to be. But definitely, call the doc.

Fluid buildup in the feet could be a sign of congestive heart failure, best make an appointment with her cardiologist so he can give you a proper diagnosis.
Best thing to do in the meantime is to have her in a laydown position with her feet elevated on some pillows.

The same swelling in the ankles occured in my grandfather after he had a pacemaker in... I would imagine it is normal while you may want to check with her doctor

Fluid buildup in the extremities is a warning sign. How much exercise is she getting? Best to consult her physician.

usually patients with heart or kidney conditions have swelling in their feet and ankles and its bilateral(both sides)if so i suggest that she must see her doctor to make sure that its not something seriuos
