No. Condoms are only about 89% safe. Only abstinence is 100% effective.

Condoms are nearly 100% effective against HIV when used properly, and all of the time.
That 89% statistic is a measure of the number of people over the course of a year who get pregnant and who say that condoms are their prefered choice of birth control. By that measure, abstinence isn't so effective either (how many people do you know who've had sex after claiming to be abstinent?).
Unexpired, properly stored condoms don't fail. People fail by not wearing them, not putting them on soon enough, or not putting them on properly. Watch those greasy hands!

I don't believe it's 100 percent. However, there should at least be mention and definitely use as in websites, searches and any other medium . I have not seen much mention or use when researching. The HIV/AIDS problem is still worldwide. Perhaps servers and websites could promote knowledge more. It wouldn't take a lot to do this.

I bet the person who told you that also said you can use two condoms at the same time and its more effective..(by the way its not) Condoms are in no way ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY going to save your little butt from some STD, you have a pretty good shot of not getting one, don't get me wrong.. but the chances of getting one are still very high. Chances are, if you've been having sexual intercourse with someone you think has any sexually transmitted disease....you possibly...most likely have it.. and I would go see someone about it..

Actually the answer is no. We have all heard about women getting pregnant when the man wore a condom. Well the fact is, is that the HIV virus is 10 times smaller then sperm. So if sperm can get through the pores of a condom, so can the HIV virus. Total abstinence is the only way brother.

" Condoms" aren't 100% anything. The only thing to "guard" you against AIDS is abstinence.
