my doctor said no but i've read yes. so which is it?

I think its concidered and STI but males tend to be the carriers cause they dont show signs of it

no it is not an std it is caused by an imbalance in the ph of the vagina some people get bv more often then others. it also happens sometimes when you are with a new partner.

No. It's just the bactera that is normally in the vagina sometimes grows out of control, that is what happens when we get yeast infections too.
