There is a proprietary diet supplement beverage that is bio-available over the Internet. It is something that you need to help you control your blood sugar and mantain proper weight. Once you take this one time I promise you,you will never want to be without it. I take it every day of my life and it has helped me in more ways than I can count. I urge you to investigate and learn everything you can about this beverage. It is called "Tunguska Blast". The most tested product in the history of the world. Every man woman and child in America should be on this product NOW. Exceptions: Chemotherapy Patients/ Organ Donor Recipients.(Reason: It strenghthens the immune system vs. the necessity of having it weakened so that the organ is not rejected by the body.) There is a dot.com reference source listed below.

I am newly diagnosed diabetic. I have been losing weight by eating six small meals of two hundred calories each per day. Each meal has a carbohydrate, a protein and a vegetable. I'm doing this because, for the most part I don't get hungry and I feel like I can stick to this - you know, a life style change rather than a diet. I walk for at least forty minutes a day and go to hot yoga twice a week. You have to measure your food and count the calories honestly - you can get help with this from fitday.com. Before I started using them I was thinking I was getting 1200 calories but way actually sneaking in more like 1600. I do all my errands on the weekend by foot or on my bike. Good luck!

It is always more difficult to lose weight when diabetic. Our bodies like to hold onto the fat. It has to do with the insulin. I would talk to your doctor. He/she will have some suggestions that are healthy for you. I know what my doctor tells me to do and I would be a little nervous about telling you because everyone reacts differently.
I would think the high protein diet is crap. Your kidneys and liver are working hard enough without adding additional stress to digest the protein.
Keep up with the exercise because that helps to lower your insulin use--which will help the weight loss. It is like a vicious cycle with insulin/weight.

I am not a girl but I have lost weight on a crazy sounding thing. If you have or know someone who has a playstation 2, for $50 you can get an eye toy and a program called kenetic. It is an awsome and fun exersice program that has really helped my out by not only losing weight but making me feel more entergetic. Just thought I would let ya know. Good luck!!

Get a copy of the diabetic diet from your local Diabetes help group. Stick to it and exercise. The weight will gradually return to normal. Keep in touch with your health professional.

Drink water, drink water as much as you can. People often confuse thirst with the desire to eat, so they eat when they should be drinking water. Walk, walk as much as you can, it burns calories and is low impact. Watch the white stuff, enriched white flour and sugar. I believe it is bad advice to load up on proteins. Eat a balanced meal, and make sure you get enough calcium. Fad diets are just that, fads, and we all know fads come to an end and so will your weight loss. Water is the most important nutrient the body needs and most people, flat out, do not drink enough water. Water has numerous other benefits to your health as well.

I'm not sure why you're querying girls, but that's your thing.

If you want to lose weight and keep your sugar under control, you could do as I have done. It's really quite simple... take in fewer calories than you burn. Here's all you need:
