You know - they still will eat meat because they haven't made the connection between themselves and the animals. They still see themselves as different to the animals. I believe that its not until we realise our essential identity and know that the animals are also embodied souls - yes, like Hari Krishnas - although I'm not one - that people will continue to eat animals. That's what I call it - eating animals. I think saying "eating meat" removes people from the personal aspect of eating an "animal" which is so obviously a live individual.

some carnivores can do that. Such as the ones that work in slaughter houses and people that live on farms etc. My husband is a carnivore. He hunts deer and eats it. My father still tells me stories to this day about how he raised his pigs and rabbits like pets and then ate them for supper. It's a natural part of life. People eat animals. I personally choose not to. Not because I feel sorry for the animals but because I find it disgusting to eat something that was once alive....a dead body. Plus, I never felt like I could chew steak enough to swallow it without choking.

I have slaughtered pigs, and ate them. Fresh pig meat is really good. It tastes better than store-bought meat actually.
I have also slaughtered deer, fish and squirrel. YES, squirrel meat tastes good(it's like chicken but a little tougher).
I grew up in the country down south, and a lot of people still slaughter there own meat such as pigs and cow and chickens.
And millions of people still go out fishing and bring home their fish, and gut them, de-scale them and eat them.
Most people don't mind at all to ring a chicken's neck, pluck the feathers out, gut it, cook it and eat it.
It's what God made them for.

How about you not be so rude. I'm goin vegetarian and your rudeness irks me.
Same those that eat meat and tell the vegetarians and vegans to eat a steak.
My advise to all of you:
GET THE F.UCK OVER IT! Continue enjoying what you eat and be merry. Stop enforcing your wants onto others.

Not a good idea.
If you just walk up to a random farm and begin shooting animals the farmer is likely to become annoyed and you could suddenly find yourself with buckshot in your ***.
