My favorite is okonomiyaki which is a mixture between pancake and pizza. "Okonomi" means "as you like". I tried that in a restaurant in Tokyo. It was fun to eat with your friends. There are pictures in the link below.

That would be a hard choice! But high on my list would be "Uni", the sushi made of sea-urchin 'gonads', and the Osakan dish 'Oki-no-mi-yaki', the truly wonderful 'weird radish' & rice flour pancake with "stuff" in it that is served hot & sauced. Yum!

Bento box dinner with chicken teriyaki, beef teriyaki, chicken katsu, salad, and miso soup. And those little pea pods too.

definitely sushi like sake,ika and tako.urafutomaki, kappamaki, kanimaki, ebitenmaki.zenzai like tuna and wasabiko.Ala ca-rte dishes like tempura mori,tori kara age, grilled sake,chawanmoshi,unagidon and tuna and sake sashimi.
