I'm a nurse. No dear you are fine. Please take care of yourself, you deserve it. You can get an std but no pregnancy. You want to always protect yourself no matter what.

If you're having unprotected anal sex, you need to be beat about the head and ears.
Unprotected sex is the most surefire way to catch an STD, except for UNPROTECTED ANAL SEX!

Therefore, if you are recieving, and semen gets into a cut/rip (no matter how minute), if that person has an STD, you're gonna get it.
From a medical standpoint, anal sex isn't very safe, even when using protection,
but if you MUST:
Use LOTS of GOOD lube. Don't get cheap stuff, or use anything petroleum based (vaseline, baby oil).
AND USE A CONDOM.
Also, from strictly anal sex, you can't "technically" get pregnant.
But, if the semen leaks out of the anus, into the vagina, there is an elevated chance.
Also, try not to have unprotected sex PERIOD, even if it IS that time of the month.
Yeah, your chances of getting prego is slim, but do you really want to chance it?

Heres the problem with unprotected anal. You CAN get pregnant. Common sense. Your vagina is pretty close to the anus, what 2 inches? If he ejaculates in your anus, theres a HUGE chance that at least one spermie will make it to near your vagina. Out of millions and millions of sperm in one ejaculation, one is all you need. So yes, if ANY sperm at ALL (you may not even see it) touches near your vagina, you can get pregnant.
Other probelm - many STDs are spread through the anus. Including HIV. Which is also known as AIDS. You can get herpes, warts and LOT of other kinds from unprotected anal. If his naked body part touches YOUR naked body part, anything he has may spread to you.
Dont be dumb about it, might as well use a condom. Its not that hard and can save your life.

You can't get pregnant from anal sex. You can get pregnant if you have sexual intercourse during your period. It is not common but it is possible according to the site listed below.

they used to say you couldn't get pregnant during your period but now they say you can . sperm can stay alive for 9 or 10 days
so if it makes it to ovulation you can . anal cant get pregnant .
Your best bet use protection every time its the safest way to go.
