most prescriptions are filled within/every 30 days, do find a doctor @ your home base who will work with you, depending on what you are taking, some scripts are good for a year or so.....walmart, walgreens, cvs, kogers/frys, or a home RX that can call them ahead(get them a huge XMas gift) are almost everywhere.........good luck traveling

Well, the only thing I can say is that you should talk to your doctor about it, but if you can't come in and let him ask you a few questions, do some tests, and generally see how things are going, then it's not really appropriate for him to be giving you drugs which have the potential to harm you, and it would be a mistake to want that sort of "care".
I know it's not exactly convenient, but there's a reason why doctors don't prescribe medicines if they can't see a patient, it's because it has the potential to do more harm than good.

You can buy insulin without a prescription. The needles are what you require a prescription for. Stock up on those. Reuse them. I get 3 or 4 out of mine before they start dulling up.

You need to find a doctor who will fill 6 month percriptions for you. You can call in the refills and have them shipped to the hotel you will be staying at. If your talking about controlled substances like valium, no doctor will accomodate you. You need to find a doctor who will treat you without worring about getting paid everytime you need a refill.

If you have asked the doctor to take this into advisement and he has refused then there's nothing you can do about it. It's a Federal law, I'm sure you know by now and they won't bend an inch.
