sounds like time for a sinus node ablation, the best person to ask is your cardiologist.

Unfortunately, every procedure for atrial fibrillation has a chance of failure, and it sounds like you weren't lucky with this one.
The thing to do, of course, is talk to your doctor, there are other options, both interventional and pharmacological and even the option of allowing the atrial fibrillation to persist and simply controlling the rate taking anticoagulation.
Without knowing your history and more about your afib, I can't even begin to recommend any specific procedure, but you doctor can.
