This is very much a real treatment which is very popular among women and men who like to do anal sex and they want the area around their bum hole to look more attractive by evening out the colour.
I saw a documentary on it a few months back and they were doing the Documentry in America but i have no doubt that they have introduced this trend in the UK.
Why do you want to know, are you thinking about doing this? heehee. You appear to be very young, how old are you?

I also saw the programme but can't remember any names. It seems a waste of money to me. There must be a reason why the anal area is darker than other parts so leave it alone. Why give money to someone for something that really isn't that important.

Yes, it is a real treatment. It's very uncomfortable to have done and probably embarrassing too. It's mostly porn stars that are showing off that area that have it done, but who knows maybe others are doing it now as well.
Can't answer you question about the UK, but probably so. They are doing it here in the US. I saw a show on one of those plastic surgery shows and I couldn't believe it.

Yes its a real treatment and it can be done in most plastic surgeries or it can be done in a place that deals with alternative treatments such as colonic irrigation that type of thing . . Nice Look if youre a gay fella apart from that I cant imagine who would be bothered what colour there bum hole would be .

This sounds hazardous. Especially if its chlorine bleach ..ack!
Try enemas twice a month or
get that hose connected to your shower for internal "douching". It works great and doesnt cost you anything but warm water :)
Nice and clean.
