If you are trying to pass a test for a Job (drug test) be carefull because if you drink alot of water to clear it out you will get a "Negative" reading "ok to hire" but it will also come up "Dilute" and a company cannot hire you with that status.

The only thing that will get nicotine and the other crap out of your system is time, and of course not smoking. The bulk of nicotine leaves your system in 3 - 4 days, however trace levels will show up positive on a test for up to 6 months. Drinking water is good for you but will not make a difference to nicotine in your system as it is stored in your fat.
