Anti double stranded deoxytribonucleic acid test (Anti-dsDNA Testing) helps to predict and control Autoimmune diseases such as Systemic Lupus Erythematosis (SLE) flare-ups.
Fluorescent antinuclear antibody test (FANA) and anti-double stranded deoxytribonucleic acid (dsDNA) antibody testing is an integral part of the evaluation of the patients who are suspected of having connective tissue disease.

That is a test for an antibody to double-stranded DNA (dsDNA). This is something that is commonly found in the blood of people who suffer from SLE (lupus), and is actually fairy specific for the disease, but can also sometimes be found in other autoimmune disorders. By itself it doesn't prove anything, but it is suggestive.

this is a specific test for lupus.
so pattients positive for ds-DNA are having (systemic lupus erythematosus)
