Such as? The biggest cause of terrorism is the lack of hope of the people in their future and the future of their families. Who causes that lack of hope. They blame Israel and America, but America sends millions of dollars to Palestine for food, medicine, and to help the Government pay their workers. (or did till they elected Hamas) Israel has offered some fairly generous peace proposals, once even accepting most of Arafat's conditions and still they refuse. What should the world do? Give them everything they ever ask for, Billions of dollars of free money, and destroy Israel for them? How about accepting their plight is a choice made by their leaders. The extreme Muslim Clerics that rule Al-Qaida and the Taliban even kill educated people as they see any modern education as a sin.

Very good question! The causes of terrorism in the various countries come from the US attitude that we are superior and care nothing for the people of other nations. The second reason is that most of our foreign policy is dictated by big business that seeks only to profit....We supported people such as Saddam, Marcos, Noreiga, Batista, and even the Shah of Iran...all of which trampled their own people...and we wonder why the Iranians or the Cubans are not fond of us. We bribed Nguyen Cao Ky and General Minh in Vietnam not to stand against Nguyen Van Thieu because Thieu was an American Puppet. We supported Chiang Kai Chek (a very corrupt person involved with the drug smuggling Green Gang of Shanghai but friendly with Henry Luce, Everett Dirksen, FDR and others and supported by his brother-in-law, Charlie Soong...the richest man in the world at that time) against Mao Tse Tung who wanted to get rid of the Japanese and the ManChu....It apparently is an edict of the State Department to use the least qualified people to be American Ambassadors....yes, we do need to look at the cause of terrorists and re-define our goals.

The US is not the only reason for the terrorists to be out there killing people.
A big part of it is the people who have come to power abusing their positions and perverting their causes - be they a religion or a political cause.
Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Take those in power out, and the followers just might start to think for themselves for a change.

What caused them to be terrorists is their religion.
So, you want to fight 1.2 billion Muslims by making Islam illegal?
If anybody thinks terrorism exists because of Israel, the US or poverty or other nonsense, they are quite ignorant of the bloody history of Islam.

I would need more details about your view on the cause . IF A CAUSE HAS A LEADER, i WOULD WANT TO KNOW WHY HE LEADS AND HIS PURPOSE BECAUSE THOSE WHO FOLLOW ARE ONLY THE FUEL BEHIND THE FRONT FORCE, YET THEY ARE THE ONES WHO PAY THE HIGHEST PRICE AS THE LEADER WILL FIND WAYS TO REMOVE HIMSELF FROM DIRECT BLUNT FORCE. AND REMAIN TO REFUEL AGAIN. THAT IS WHY LEADERS OF ANY FORCE NEED TO TALK . YES THEY ARE LEADERS, BUT WHAT THEY DO WITH THE PEOPLE WILL DECIDE ANY LEADERS FATE AND THEIR CLOSEST FOLLOWERS. ANY DISREGARD FOR THE GOOD OF ALL HUMANITY BY A LEADER IS TAKEN AS A THREAT BY ALL HUMANITY AND TREATED AS SUCH WITH SUCH DISREGARD FOR ANOTHER LIFE AND TO NOT KNOW THE ONE WHO HOLDS THEIR VERY LIFE IN HIS HANDS ONLY , THAT DAY WOULD COME UPON THEM SWIFTLY IN THE NAME OF holy spirit OF God OVER ALL NATIONS AND PEOPLE.AMEN
