I am so bored , i like my vegemite lol do ya? and is it avalible in the US cuz us aussies digg into it , must be making fortunes!

Australian staple diet....i dig it......usually on toast with butter or salada's with cream cheese.....I thought it was now illegal in America though due to there being folate in it........

I just bought mine today - a small 115 gram bottle. Tastes like I remember it - I actually like it. Course I'm a salt person - I would choose chips over cookies and popcorn over ice cream most days. As for the spiritual experience, well I've never had Vegemite before today, but I used to be a Marmite eater. It is an acquired taste, but I acquired a taste for a woman who ate it. Haven't seen her for more than 10 years, but this whole Vegemite thing has brought back some fond memories. I think I'll go make another piece of toast....

I tried it once when I was a lot younger than I am now, and let me tell me you, there's NOTHING on the face of this earth that would get me to try it again. I think it's that gross. But then again, I'm from America, I'm sure there's a lot of things we eat that Aussies think are nasty.
P.S. Just so everybody knows, Vegemite has not been banned in the U.S. This story has been traced back to a Kraft spokesperson who made an incorrect statement to reporters, and the Herald actually printed it.

No it's not available in the United states. I only heard about Vegemite from other people on here.

Vegemite nothing better then vegemite on toast first thing in the morning,i hear it is banned in the u.s.a. they just don't know what's good for them

I like vegemite but being british i have to say i prefer marmite, on hot granary toast with lots of butter, yum (no i've not had lunch yet...!)
