Why don't you try asking her? My mother never has a problem coming up with a long list of things she wants, although I realise not all mums are like that. This year she's getting a designer skirt (which she picked) and some lip gloss.
For next year, try Lush (if there's not a shop near you they have a website), look on her dressing table for her favourite perfume, get her tickets to the theatre if she likes going to shows. Women are so easy to buy for, it's dads that aren't...

oooo i find it the most difficult present to buy for, she has everything. last year i bought her a necklace with a pendant in the shape of the infinity symbol (like a figure of 8), to symbolise my love for her... (pass the sick bucket i know!).
So i raised the bar too high and this year it was a struggle to match it with an equally good present. So i lumped for perfume instead, but an expensive one. agent provocateur matrisse!

I brought my Mum some Tiffany ear rings!
She has been there throughout for me and the boys and she is in crippling pain with Arthuritus, i just wish i had a magic cure to take her pain away!
I love her loads and we just tell each other that, we're just no demonstrative which is also sad! But i thought she deserved something nice!

hi.....how about going on a mini vacation together over a weekend. my mom and I used to do that quite a bit and we always had a great time. it gave us a chance to become friends not just mother and daughter. we had a very open relationship and I could tell her just about anything.....she was one of my best friends.....she always seemed to appreciate it more than anything I could buy for her....your very lucky to still have your mom....mine passed away 4 yrs ago at Christmas time and I miss the time we used to share.
