Me and Patsy broke up about 3 and a half years ago, although recently I met up with her daughter who is 16 (I am 46) to talk about a job and we ended up going back to my place and getting drunk and having sex. I know it sounds really seedy but it honestly wasn't planned. I have children both older and younger than her.
When you are 16 sex is legal int his country so its not statutory rape. We used to get on really really well and I missed her like crazy when me and my girlfriend split up.
Since then we have been meeting up and having sex fairly regularly. The thing is, although its messing with my head I can't just get rid of her, she is much more than just a lay to me, she is not my booty call. She is lovely and funny and beautiful and I love spending time with her. Her life is a mess at the moment and I think she would fall apart if I abandoned her now.
If my kids found out though all hell would be let loose and I wouldnt be allowed to see me younger children.
What do i do??

I think no matter how you wanna justify it dude, you f*cked up, big time in doing this and there's no good or easy way out of this without you being caught out. Be a man about it now. You certainly haven't done the adult thing so far. Regardless of it being legal, she's a child in comparison to you and her life being messed up hasn't been helped at all by this. Believe me, I was a 16 year old girl once who was mature for my age.. but I was still a 16 year old girl and no matter how you wanna look at it, they think differently to adult women. I don't see an easy way out of this so try to do the most mature.. end it and cop whatever consequences (& there will be them sooner or later) you get now.

It does sound like you are in a dilemna!! And, probably going to feel any worse when the yahoo wolves get to you!! No one likes to hear about a teen having sex with an older man. However, rest assured, where I come from it was legal too. And, I did it as a teen. So, let me give you some advice. No matter if you are young or old, rich or poor, the most important part of any relationship, be it work or personal, is communication. You should know this already, and I am just drumming it in for you. You need to put your feelings out on the table, tell her what it is that you are concerned about. Tell her she is more important to you, but you arent ready yet. Tell her that your kids will be weirded out, and you are afraid that people wont take you seriously. And, most importantly, tell her you will always hold a place in your heart for her, and tell her (even if you dont plan to), that when she gets older, you can always try again then. Remind her that she has other things going on too, and secrecy isnt the best foundation for any relationship. Tell her to concentrate on school and work and other things in her life. I think you can talk your way out of it, just do it with an open heart. And remember, always say something nice, before you say something negative!!! Good Luck Hun!

Forget these pricks, they can't even spell the word! (For all you ignorant fools out there.........altogether now "paedophile"!!)

Man, at the end of the day you yourself know that this is wrong on an ethical and moral standpoint but what would be worse? Breaking up with her now or letting her become attached and ultimately dependent upon you fro emotional stability?

I'd say that whilst you'll always be there for her and be a shoulder for her to lean on but you stand to lose too much by being involved with her and your children deserve stability too. They are your priority and always will be, anything that jeopardises that must come second.

Good luck!

wow, what a predicament. You sound emotionally attached but it may be because she looks up to you so much that you feel so needed. She's not your equal, though, and you need to realize that. I would strongly suggest you break off the physical connection and start e-mailing or calling only. You need to let her go for her sake and your kids' sake. You're risking losing your kids because of this. It isn't worth it.

well what is an older man was sleeping with your daughter how would you feel i mean you have to think about that because i would be just as mad if that happened to my daughter so you need to think about what you do and who you are going to hurt before you act.
