Half a mile (there was a milepost showing that on each platform). If you want to know the exact distance between the end of one platform and the start of the next you should get hold of a large scale map and measure the distance from the east side of Westmount Road bridge to the east side of Well Hall Road bridge (the platform at Well Hall extended across the bridge).
They were so close together because the developer of the Corbett Estate insisted on a station being built at Eltham Park to serve the development and took the railway to court to force them to open the station. Mind you, everyone has to make do with one station now!

Don't know sorry. It should be in the regional quail map. You can work it out by looking up the ELR (engineers' line reference) for your two stations on the quail map and subtract one from the other. The ELR might already be in miles and chains.
