I bet she'll really find the Royal Garden romantic - it's in London! That's a really helpful answer, isn't it? One of By Land is lovely, very romantic. It's in an old carriage house. and the food is very good. They have a piano bar, but I don't remember any dancing there. I love the idea of cooking a dinner for your girlfriend. There is a trade-off - I can't think of any place with dancing that has good food (certainly not the overpriced Rainbow Room or Tavern on the Green) .
