Creation of weird food combos?

I just saw the questions about peoples favorite - weird food combinations- which got me thinking...what ever prompted everyone to put these items together in the first place?

pregnant cravings,,,, and poor college days,,,, who would hsve ever thought i could make a burritto out of ramen noodles

alcohol. weed and pregnancy

not all together though. they jusy all make you eat strange things
