In 2005 the Israelis left Gaza totally. Five years earlier, they left Lebanon totally.
But it is convenient for the Arabs to ignore this, so they can continue to play the role of underdog.
The Arabs have bombarded southern Israel with over 1000 missiles just this year. And their intention is to kill innocent Israeli citizens.
If the Israelis were smart they would defeat these enemies totally and then enter into a peace agreement, ensuring that these Arabs could never attack them again.

Kevin Sites is a photographer and journalist who has been reporting on conflict in various countries around the world for a year now. Try to get to his site via Google.
Also, check out the Christian Science Monitor on lne. They have very good, unbiased reporting of all sorts fo news. As well, if you go to Amnesty International, they will have various areas where crimes against individuals and national/cultural policies that are devastating to others will be listed and you can see what's going on in/with any country that they are keeping tabs on. .

It's best to read articles from various sources to get it from many viewpoints, since such news tend to be biased. Israeli and American news will be biased in favor of Israel and Arab news will be biased in favor of Lebanon. I recommend reading one Israeli, one Arab, one American and one European article for example to see what viewpoints they have to offer. It would also show you how easy it is to bend news to give the impression you want them to give. As for a reliable source... I doubt any source is very reliable on the subject, I think all of them will be at least a little biased.
