I'm certainly interested, I've worked in the Environmental Impact area for thirty years. I was originally trained as an Industrial Chemist and then as a classical Biologist. I am unclear as to your meaning of "THE ECOLOGY". Ecology is the study of ecosystems, and they are more or less discrete communities of organisms. Talk to me!!

Dear Masha
you didn't ask anything. you just invite peoples to take part in your interesting subject. the right place for this, is a news group. you may use yahoo groups. just try it.

Any way, as a designer, if I should answer your question, let me say: designers work for producers. many of companies are not interest in ecological projects because it is not an investment. there are 3 ways in which, designers can put their ecological challenges into their real world projects:

1- push companies and investors to believe, ecological design can be a great advertisement.
2- ecological design can attract governmental supports
3- ecological design could be cheap or even free of charge.
