My ex-American Girlfriend's family are threatening to do all types of things concerning the bank account we used to hold. They say i have threatened her, endangered her safety, mis-used private information, stalked her and harrased her about it. I did no such thing, I did call from the UK to find out whats going on and ended up getting in a big argument with her Dad.

They say they are going to an attourney and the police; I can't mount a defence from the UK, is it true they can get all my details from immigration when I visited in October and make a warrant for my arrest even though I'm out f the country. If i do go to the USA to sort out this horrible mess will I be arrested, but if i don't I can't sort any of this mess out. They are also refusing to release any of the bank statements and receipts; and i have reason to believe that my personal details may be used fraudulently. Who should I contact?

First try to contact someone at the Foreign Ministry, to see if anyone can help you with your difficulties. But I don't think you'll have any alternative to obtaining the services of a lawyer in the state in question.

The good news is, if you really haven't done anything, you have an excellent chance of owning that entire family - after you sue them for libel and defamation of character and win several hundred thousand pounds in damages.

particular, you're possibly to have the potential to get a passport if it quite is a warrant for a minor offense. once you're needed for homicide, then no longer likely. Why no longer in basic terms guard the warrant at the same time as waiting on your passport to seem? you ought to quite pass to the courtroom construction or police station and turn your self in. This'll additionally seem greater suitable in case you do it on your guy or woman somewhat than a police officer turning as much as take you away.
