No, I am not an Islamophobe. I have no problem with good Muslims. It's bad people of all religions/lack of religion that I have a problem with.
Phobia means fear. Islamophobia is fear of Islam. Fear often stems from ignorance. I've had the chance to get to know a lot of Muslims and I know that most of them are regular, good people like the rest of us, so I know I have nothing to fear. :)

i thought about a certain girl all day yesterday does that mean i hate her? phobia means fear i fear only two things and ill tell you cause i like you im scared of heights and rats and mice if i see a rat or a mouse i scream and run out of the room like a little girl my brother thinks its funny i dont i hated when our cat would catch rats it made me sick but no im not an islamophobe i have no reason to be

I'm with Muslimah. I just dont get it. I come into University to study, not to be discriminated and being hissed 'terrorist' in my vicnity. We Muslims do what other Religions do; play football, wish for peace and harmony, have goals and careers to chase. And I dont have to be 'too religious' to think this way. Its how the people express about Islam especially directly towards us Muslims. So there.

many are fearful of Islam (which is what it means), because they don't know anything about it, or have been biased by various conflicts and 9/11 events, or because they feel it is threatening their way of life. Islam is growing very fast in Western Europe.
Then there are atheists like me who feel that Islam is actually a dangerous religion if the Qu'ran is interpreted literally. Sharia law abhors most people as it is very primitive and inhumane.
Oh, Islam means Submission (to the will of God). Not Peace. I don't wan to submit to anything or anyone, I want to be free.

From Nowhere will be suprised to learn that the Red Brigade has no muslim adherants or sympathizers. and the Bader Meinhoff Gang didn't have any muslim members either... the list is too long....

I don't have a problem with Islam. I do have a problem with people who are very arrogant and say things like "Islam is the only way!" of "Why wont you convert". Keep in mind that I have the same problem with Christians and the rare Jew looking to convert people.

Im just afraid of anything having to do with old testament and forward. Less = more respectable. Jews are jews. Christianity and Islam = brainwashed cattle.
