When Buddha's idol was broken by muslim brothers in Afganistan, people raised hue and cry. Islam says idol worship is wrong

And you know there was no rain in Bamiyan area of Afganistan for 6 years and after the budha idol was broken there was rain which helped poor muslim brothers. Rain came as a blessing from Allaha.

Is it not a proof that Islam is Truth?

Is that all you have ?

Personally, I think the fact that Jesus Christ taught that He was going to be killed and rise again the third day according to the Scriptures and then was killed and rose the third day according to the Scriptures is much more compelling that what He says is truth.

If what He says is truth then you had best forget about Islam.

By the way, there are more than 350 prophecies in the Old Testament that identify Jesus Christ right from the very beginning to some 400 years before He came. There is nothing known about Muhammed before his life.

Furthermore Jesus Christ performed many amazing and notable miracles whereas Muhammed is not known for a single one.

How can you even compare the two ?

The evidence is overwhelming, maybe you should examine it.

Firstly, is this a fact or a rumour, what is the exact timeline, how soon did it rain afterwards, a day, a month, a year, after the americans invaded?
What is the weather pattern normally like in that area, are there frequent droughts followed by periods of rain? There could be so many factors involved.

If you want to get into god influencing nature then perhaps you'd like to explain why on december 13 2003 the U.S. finally captured saddam hussein and 13 days later on the the 26th an earthquake happened in Iran killing about 15 thousand muslims, was this a thumbs up for America from god?
Exactly one year later on december 26 2004 the tsunami which killed approx 230,0000 people struck, the worst hit area? Indonesia, a predominantly muslim country, where approx 168,000 people were killed.
In 2005 there was the earthquake whose epicentre was in the pakistan-administered area of Kashmir, Pakistan reported 73,276 died, while officials say nearly 1,400 people died in Indian-administered Kashmir.

If you believe theres a god what's he trying to tell you?

You'll notice I've given you facts and figures you can go check yourself, not rumour or some ranting cleric trying to twist your minds in a mosque.

No it's not. I'm a Muslim and I believe that Islam is the truth but that's not the proof. There is a real proof I can tell you.

It's said in the Noble Qur'an that in the time of Muhammad very few people believe in Islam. So the pagan Arabs told Muhammad that they will only believe if Muhammad can bring a miracle to them. Muhammad prayed to Allah to bring him a miracle and Allah indeed gave him! Allah split the moon in 2 and the people saw it. The pagans said that they'll only believe if the neighboring tribes will come to them to tell them that they saw it too And if not, they'll conclude that Muhammad is only a sorcerer that tricked their minds. And upon waiting, the chief of the neighboring tribe came and told them that they saw the moon split!

A recent research also tells that the scientists have found a line between the moon's rocks, a division, that they explains that it can never happen unless the moon was split and brought back as 1.

Thank you for reading and I hope that everyone of us will realize the truth.

" Islam says"..... The song " If I ruled the world " comes to mind .
We have an equal right to compete with ideas only , not forcing our beliefs on others backed up by wanton acts of mindless vandalism .
Although not a Hindu I doubt whether the followers of that faith would agree with your assertion that they worship an idol when they carve an image of the Buddha . Created in a time before photography , the sculptures are there to bring the great mans philosophies before there mind .
Get hold of the next thought , they have every bit as much right to do so as you claim for yourself . Tolerance has three syllables ,take three minutes to contemplate on the concept in a culturally diverse world . Or maybe you would seek to dominate us all by force . What has proof got to do with man seeking his maker , if that were the case only the most intelligent would be believers in any religion . You make the opposite case admirably .

No this is not a proof.

1) islam never asked to stop non muslim to pray according to their own style
3) islam never asked to ruined non muslims 's religious places
4) islam always ask to protect the rights of minorities
5) islam says idol worship is wrong but islam never allow to interfere in the life of those idol worshipers
6) Rain happened due to climatic changes. And the system of rain is fixed for ever by God and now God is not so free to see each and every place for rain sun or clouds etc.
7) Blessing comes from God due to good things done to the poor people and to do some sacrifices from rich people. Blessings from God comes due to the work done for the betterment of humanity and not because of just killing each other (as happening in Afghanistan now a days) and destroying the religious places of non Muslims

Please for God sake u Pakistanis come out from illusions which have created by ur clergy men and ur ex dictator Zia ul Haq.

Pleas try to face the reality whats happening in the world. U people always live in the sweet dreams created for u people by ur mullahs.

There are lots of other proofs in this world about the existence of Allah (God) and about the truth of Islam and what u mentioned is showing that islam was spread due to sword and by killing non Muslims and destroying their worship places.

For ur kind information: that Buddha’s monument was broken by those idiot Taliban’s in 2000 ( and Pak Army was in full support of that) and rain happened few days back. So this again show no link between these two incidence

Please don’t spread these types of nonsense things on net

Firstly people should know what is Islam exactly, some people dont actually know the meaning of islam.

This is the definition of Islam those who do not know or those who have wrong definition.

1.Islam is derived from the word salaam meaning peace.
1.Islam means Submission to the Will of Allah (swt) i.e. God Almighty.
3.Meaning of ‘Muslim’ – One who submits his will to Allah.

Every prophet came with one message, this message as follows '' There is no God but Allah and ..............(who ever was the messanger of that time :Muhammad,Jesus, Moses, David, Abraham, Jonah etc) is the messanger of Allah.

The final messenger was prophet Muhammad
And the final revelation from God is the Qur' an

The ultimate mircale is the Qur' an, in this book you will find proof of God existence, stories of the prophets, paradise etc

Qur' an
2:2 This is the Scripture whereof there is no doubt, a guidance unto those who ward off (evil).

10:37 This Qur'an is not such as can be produced by other than Allah. on the contrary it is a confirmation of (revelations) that went before it, and a fuller explanation of the Book - wherein there is no doubt - from the Lord of the worlds.

4:82 Do they not consider the qur'an (with care)? Had it been from other Than Allah, they would surely have found therein Much discrepancy.

There so many verses in the Qur' an relating to purpose of our creation, stories of the prophets, hereafter etc, if u dont believe me, check it out for yourselves dont just take what other people says, see it for your selves

below is a website where you can downlaod the Qur' an in english

When man lived lives of their own accord and God sent his son to the world to die for our sins. Is it not proof that God exists? When Jesus performed miracles- healing people and raising some from the dead was it not proof that God exist? because He gave Jesus the power to all these. He created Adam and Eve so that we descended from them, Humans and animals and all living things not proof of God's existence.

I strongly believe the lack of rain was God's punishment towards the people for worshipping idols, because it says in the ten commandments that idols are not to be worshipped. When those Muslim brothers tore down the idols, God restored the land and gave them rain.

The only thing it proves is that Islam will do anything to brainwash people, & I don't fall for it. You say that God had made it rain as proof, Did you know God can give the authority to man to control nature also, If you would like to read our bible, there is a few verses to show that, There will be 2 Prophets to Israel very soon & They will control nature by God's authority Revelation 11:3-12 So Muslim people, your interpretation of what you think, is far from truth.

If there is proof of Islam it is to be found in the words of the Prophet (PBUH) not in the weather.
Both Jews and Christians are commanded by their holy books not to worship false idols and so your "proof" could also apply to their religions.
I have also been to Malaysia where the Islamic government allows many Buddhist and Hindu idols to exist around the nation - they have regular rain almost every day. If Allah did not like the Bamiyan idols why does he approve of the Malaysian ones?
As I said before look for proof in the words of the Prophet (PBUH) and not in the weather.

Frankly I hope you won't think me immoral but I'd rather see a few muslim brothers starve to death than to see the despicable act of destroying a 3000 year old work of art by ignorant people who feel offended by its presence.

It this what passes for 'proof' in the mind of the religious? I'd offer something about correlation and causation but you're so foolish I can waste no more time on you.
