I'm asking this seemingly useless question because so many people go on diets only to gain back 2 times as much weight as they lost? I'm talking about proven, long term success.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

1. Take responsibility for the problem

2. Decide whether you want to stay as you are or change

3. If you want to change what you ARE, you need to change what you DO, i.e your lifestyle.

4. Diets NEVER work. Period. The reason is that if you think you can diet for 3 week (months/years. . . .) then go back to how you ate/exercized etc before and not go back to how you WERE before, you are sadly mistaken.

The ONLY way to permanently change your weight is to permanently change your lifestyle. Anything else is a quick, temporary fix that does not address the cause and tehrefore does not change the effect.

What a uselessly simple question.
CALORIES IN MUST BE LESS THAN CALORIES OUT.
That's the ONLY weight loss technique.
Low Carb? That's because you control caloric intake.
GI diet? You control portion intake.
ANY DIET - You cut normal calories and are encouraged to burn off more!!!

I know the main one is diet and excersise, but if you have a significant amount of weight to lose, the lapband or other weight loss surgery is very effective. I lost over 100 lbs with the lap band and I love it!
