I dated this guy for 2 years. In those 2 years he cheated on me twice. That I know of. I have recently ended things with him because of the mistrust and affairs. One of my friends has started to see him, but he is still sms'ing me and phoing me all the time tell me how he's sorry, he loves me and whants to be with me...In the mean time he's telling her, she's so wonderful and he wants to be with her and she's so fantastic and she is exactly what he needs. I am really not a jealous person and I am glad if he is getting out there and dating but why does he have to date my friend. I know what he is like and he is lying to her and he is going to cheat on her like he did to me? Please help!! How can I convince her he is wrong for her?? I have told her all about him and what he is doing but she seems to think that he is differnet with her and she can make it work cause he is acutally such a great guy!! Help!!

Yeah, some people are like that- totally in denial. If you told her everything you said here and she still believes he will change, then you've done your duty to try to save her from a stupid decision. The rest is up to her, but some people are just self destructive when it comes to relationships. Sad but true...

If you are a true friend, mind your business. You can't convince noone in a situation like this because it will make you look like you are the jealous friend. In other words, what ever you do, you'll look like the villian. Just because he cheated on you, doesn't mean he'll cheat on her.
And why are you still entertaining him anyway. If he sms, text or call you, you should ignore his advances.
Just whatever you decide to do, don't end up on Jerry Springer.

Hello,
I guess you have to be ready for a fight for this one. If you really want to convince her, save all those messages in your phone and show it to your friend. If she does something about it, then you have to be ready. There is a possibility that she will defend her bf and pick a fight with you.
However if she does not listen, let it go. She will understand you later when the cheating starts. She might even respect you for telling her.

Sounds like she really doesn't care. You told her the truth and leave it at that. She may need to get kicked in the teeth regarding this guy. You could save messages to show her - but lets face it you just be considered to be faking them. You have been to good friend in telling her - you may need to be the good friend to be there when her heart gets broken.

I think you need to show her the proof. If she doesnt listen to you then she will just have to learn the hard way. Some women (myself included) need a bash on the head to get it when a guy is no good for them. Women more than men dont listen to the signals that they get. If you show her absolute proof, then she cant deny it, but she can choose to continue her relationship with him.

Personally I feel that you should keep all the SMS and show it to your friend as evidence that her bf is going to cheat on her. But you can't force her to believe you coz if you push too hard, you may even lose your friendship.

actually u cannot make her understand as when person falls in love he becomes bilnd, but as a friend this is ur duty to help her not to fall in his trap, so keep trying and show her the sms also he is sending u or one day make conversation with him on the conference and let her listen also his chating comments.

save the sms he sends u and show it to her - sometimes u have to be cruel to be kind. if she doesn't listen - she'll just have to learn - just be there for her when she falls. u can take a horse to water but u can't make it drink

you could take a picture of him screwing you. Other than that, show her the statistics of cheaters giving up their cheating ways. Or you could tell her what you just told us.
