I mean there are only 4 restrictor plate races a year. I love restrictor plate racing because its so exciting. I think they are the best races on NASCAR's schedule. And there should be more of them in this 36 races a year. And is there any other tri-oval track as large or larger than Daytona(2.5miles) and Talladega(2.66miles)? The only problem would be that Jr.,J.Johnson, T. Stewart, or J. Gordon would be winning it almost every time at these tracks. And of course i always root for Jr and Stewart. Johnson and Gordon are gay, i'm in the closet, butt lovers.

No, I think they souuld get rid of restrictor plates.
Dale Sr. ran Daytona one year (can't remember the year) without a plate on the engine (NASCAR wanted to see what the car would do) he ran two laps @235mph+. He stepped out of his car and said "Now that's what racing should be".

If the speeds top a certain limit then restrictor plates are needed.
But in the same thought NASCAR should got to a PRE MADE Kit Engine for these tracks. This would make a more level playing field.
And to make NASCAR more level add a couple of dirt tracks.
And as for the last part of this dudes question,SO WHAT!

I personally think that Daytona and Talladega are one of the best tracks on the NASCAR circuit. Jeff Gordon is one of the best drivers around and so waht if he has one of the best records in NASCAR everyone is just jealous that their driver isnt that good and I'm like a huge fan of Jeff Gordon but I love those tracks along with the road courses cuz he kicks everyones butts at those tracks.

No

Keep in mind while you are thrilled at watching the multi car wrecks and the big ones with one or two cars flipping end over end several times at 170 miles an hour, that there is a Human Being in that car.

These wrecks are unavoidable because the restrictor plates keep cars unexposed to clean air bunched up in the middle of the pack.

They should get rid of restrictor plate racing and allow as much hp as they can generate. Then we will see more drafting and slingshot passing at the larger tracks. Restrictor plates were added to improve safety but I don't see how the huge multi-car wrecks from jammed-up packs are improving safety.

I agree that there should be more plate races, replace them with road races or one of the thousand same old intermediate races.

I don't think Mark Martin would be too happy, but I think that it would make the fans more interested, because of all the bumping and stuff that goes on.

There never will be more. The drivers are very vocal (though obviously not all of them) that they dread the restirctor races becuase tehy're the most dangerous and the most prone to major accidents.

It can also drastically screw up the points standing when good cars get caught up in yet another "big one".

Yes but only if they add build another superspeedway to the schedule. 3 mile oval baby. Two 1 mile staightaways with two 1/2mile turns.
