I'm having two fillings at 4pm today which I'm really looking forward to because I've been in constant pain for a week!! The dentist said he is going to have to numb my mouth which is fine but unfortuantley I have my works Christmas party at 7:30 tonight! Will the numbness have worn off by then?!

I had two fillings done at two o'clock in the afternoon and by four o'clock the numbness was gone. I think you'll be all set for you Christmas party!

The last time I went to the Dentist, my numbness lasted three and a half hours :-(

Yeah, it'll definitely wear off by then - probably about an hour after he gives it to you. So you can party on with no worries about the drool!

I went to the dentist today and mine lasted 4 hours. I guess it just depends how much they give you and how deep they deaden it.
